Lynda was unhappy with her smile having had previous dental work done. After consultation with her dentist, a 12-unit metal-free zirconia bridge was prescribed on Ankylos implants.
The margins defined and copings overlaid. The bridge was CAD/CAM designed. Now we have a good idea of what the final restoration will look like.
From the final restoration design, we can mill the framework in a strong plastic. The framework can be checked for marginal fit etc. Any adjustment can be easily corrected before the actual zirconia framework is milled. Once the temporary framework had been approved, we milled the final framework in high-translucent zirconia. With the framework made and the final design approved the porcelain was added.
A pleasing result was achieved.
